Four Movements

Film and Photo Commission for The Olana Partnership

Four Movements is a film inspired by the aesthetic visual legacy left by Frederic Edwin Church. A testament that lives in his home facing the Hudson Valley; it reflects his visual style, frozen in time and deeply influenced by his travels.

Inspired by the letters written by personalities who visited the house, such as Susan Hale and Mark Twain, Four Movements is a dance film that attests to unprecedented beauty, wonder and wishes to exist.
